Work environments
Work environments that support people and organisations
A good workplace begins with the way people work.
The design of a work environment influences concentration, collaboration, comfort and the way visitors experience an organisation.
That is why Oliviero looks beyond individual pieces of furniture. We examine how the space is used, which functions come together and which atmosphere suits the organisation. From offices and meeting rooms to reception areas, showrooms and professional outdoor spaces.
Independent, personal and not tied to any single manufacturer or collection.

A work environment with space for focus and interaction
Our belief
A good work environment helps people work better.
Not harder, but more comfortably and purposefully.
The space supports what an organisation wants to achieve and what people need every day.
The starting point
The organisation shapes the space.
A work environment must reflect everyday practice: the number of users, the way people collaborate, the need for quiet and the impression visitors should receive.
We map out functions, circulation, acoustics, comfort, technology, maintenance and future use. Only then do we make decisions about layout, materials, lighting, furniture and brands.
Offices
From individual workstations to team zones. The layout supports focus, consultation and informal contact without unnecessary distraction.
Reception & meetings
A professional first impression, logically connected to waiting, meeting and consultation.
Meeting rooms
For discussions, presentations and hybrid meetings, tailored to use and group size.
Showrooms & experience centres
Environments where presentation, circulation, hospitality and brand identity reinforce one another.
Use determines the design
Every activity requires the right setting.
Not everyone works in the same way. One person needs quiet, another seeks interaction. Visitors move through a building differently from employees. An executive room calls for different choices than an informal meeting area.
That is why we distinguish between activities and users. Consider focused work, video calls, collaboration, presentations, reception, relaxation and working outdoors.
By organising these functions clearly, we create an environment that feels calm while remaining flexible.

What sets us apart
The right brand follows from the project.
Oliviero does not sell from stock and is not tied to a single collection. This allows us to determine which brands, materials and solutions genuinely suit each project.
We assess every choice in terms of use, appearance, comfort, maintenance, lifespan and budget.
This gives us the freedom to combine different manufacturers and collections with care. Not based on personal preference, but on what the organisation and the space need.

Materials and furniture for intensive daily use
Materials & sustainability
Choices that continue to perform every day.
Materials in a work environment are used intensively. They should feel comfortable, reflect the organisation’s identity and retain their quality.
We consider wear resistance, maintenance, acoustic performance, replaceability, origin and lifespan. Flexibility also matters. An interior that can be adapted or expanded later prevents unnecessary replacement.
For us, sustainability is not defined by one material or certification. It is about a considered combination of quality, a long service life and choices that genuinely suit everyday use.
Indoors and outdoors
Outdoor space can also be part of the work environment.
A terrace, courtyard garden or outdoor room provides space for breaks, informal meetings and focused work.

Our approach
From initial question to a practical, executable whole.
We make each decision clear step by step and coordinate in good time with the client, architect, interior architect and contractors.
01
Listen & assess
We discuss the organisation, users, functions, desired atmosphere, planning and available budget.
02
Advise & select
We translate the guiding principles into a layout, materials, products and suitable brands.
03
Coordinate & guide
We safeguard coherence, dimensions, quotations, delivery and alignment with the implementation process.
Hospitality within the work environment
Welcoming people requires a different perspective.
In reception areas, corporate restaurants and client environments, work and guest experience come together. Here, we also consider circulation, comfort, service and intensive use.

Frequently asked questions
Practical answers.
What types of work environments can Oliviero advise on?
For offices, professional practices, reception areas, meeting environments, showrooms, corporate restaurants and professional outdoor spaces. We can advise on a single room or consider the coherence of the entire work environment.
Is Oliviero a traditional contract furnishing company?
No. Oliviero is an independent consultancy and project partner. We do not work from a fixed collection or our own stock, but select what best suits the organisation, use, appearance, maintenance requirements and budget.
Can you work with our architect or interior architect?
Yes. We work within the design and support the process with brand selection, product specifications, material choices, dimensions, quotations, delivery and coordination with manufacturers and suppliers.
Can you also advise on a single meeting room or reception area?
Yes. A project does not have to cover the entire office. We can provide focused advice for one or more spaces, as long as the choices align well with the organisation and the wider environment.
How do you take sustainability into account?
We assess lifespan, maintenance, material use, replaceability, origin and flexibility. A sustainable interior should not only be responsibly produced, but remain usable for the long term.
Can indoor and outdoor spaces be considered together?
Yes. Terraces, courtyard gardens and outdoor workplaces can be a valuable addition. We ensure that materials, appearance, comfort and use connect naturally with the interior.
